Precision sterilization built for modern clinics and hospitals. EQUITRON Class B Autoclaves offer Class-leading safety, intelligent controls, and consistent performance for medical, dental, cosmetic, and laboratory professionals.

EQUITRON Class B Autoclaves – Applications, Advantages & Features

EQUITRON Class B Autoclaves are engineered to deliver advanced sterilization cycles that meet the stringent EN 13060 standard. Designed to process hollow instruments, packed loads, fabrics, and porous materials that fall within the specifications of Hollow Load Type A, they offer exceptional versatility. These autoclaves are ideal for dental practices, ophthalmic surgeons, operation theatres, hospitals, CSSDs, polyclinics, cosmetic surgery centers, pedicure studios, tattoo clinics, veterinary facilities, and biological laboratories.

With EQUITRON, users benefit from intuitive operation and enhanced process monitoring. Inbuilt sterilization recipes simplify daily workflows while ensuring consistent results. Optional online printing to a thermal printer provides real-time documentation, improving traceability and quality records for clinics and laboratories that prioritize compliance and performance tracking.

Built with safety and reliability at the forefront, EQUITRON Class B Autoclaves feature a secure door structure that prevents opening under pressure, protecting the operator from potential hazards. Exhaust steam is routed to an integrated wastewater tank, maintaining a clean, steam-free environment. These construction and safety features work together to deliver durable, dependable, and user-friendly sterilization performance.

Program Cycles, Parameters & Utility Requirements

EQUITRON Class B Autoclaves offer multiple intelligent program cycles designed for flexibility and compliance. Users can choose from six preset cycles, one user-defined cycle, as well as specialized programs like Prion, Helix/Bowie-Dick Test, Vacuum Leak Test, and a dedicated Cleaning Program, ensuring suitability for a wide variety of sterilization needs.

The system delivers precise operational control with clearly defined parameters. Sterilization temperatures range from 121°C to 134°C, with cycle times varying between 4–30 minutes depending on load type. Drying times range from 1–25 minutes, and vacuum cycles can run between 1–10 stages, ensuring deep penetration and effective sterilization across both porous and non-porous materials.
  • Requires a standard 230 VAC, 50 Hz, single-phase electrical supply to ensure stable power for the heating system and control circuitry.
  • Should be installed in a well-ventilated room to allow proper dissipation of heat and steam generated during sterilization cycles.
  • Maintain at least 200 mm clearance on all sides of the autoclave to ensure adequate airflow, safe heat release, and easy access for servicing.
  • Place on a level and sturdy surface to maintain proper chamber alignment and ensure effective sealing of the door gasket.
  • Avoid installing in enclosed or humid spaces — proper ventilation prevents overheating and protects nearby equipment from steam exposure.
  • Ensure the outlet is connected through an MCB or dedicated protected circuit to safeguard the autoclave from electrical fluctuations.
  • If mounted on castors, ensure the unit is locked and stabilized during operation for vibration-free performance.
